A quick photo tip
Have a look at the difference between these 2 photos taken at the same time with the same settings (f13 @ 1/3sec | ISO 100) – the effect is most obvious in the reflection off the water but look a little closer at the leaves and background as well…
In the second photo I have used a Circular Polariser filter which acts just like polarising sunglasses do – they reduce glare and increase contrast. They fantastic for removing glare off water and foliage but also help by producing a more saturated colour especially of clouds in the sky.
Very easy to use – just screw onto the front of your lens and then rotate the filter until you get the effect you are after.
