Marching Pelicans The March of the Pelicans – one of my favourite images of the tripCurlewsA family of Beach Curlews who were near my last nights camp – such funny birds who will let you approach quite close as they stand dead still and pretend to not be there. 

20140401_Moreton_0209 copyRed-Necked Stints – (I think but they could be another kind of Sandpiper). I stalked these guys for quite a while as they are very shy but gradually came a little closer.

Carpet Python 1 Carpet Python2A gorgeous Carpet python I found just near my tent, he was out looking for food but wasn’t at all interested in me or my camera.
